Can you believe this??
This is the road we take to get to our condo.
The on ramp at the end of Coley Davis.
The soccer fields (gasp) at the end of our road.
This is the road that leads to our condo.
These pictures are surreal.
The only way to get pictures of our place would be from friends
who are stuck on the "island" between this lake
and the lake our condo is swimming around in.
None of our friends have electricity so they can't
email the pictures . . . I can't even believe it.

Where are you guys? Are you OK?

We currently live in Raleigh, so we're alright. Our place in Nashville, however, is going to need some help. Our tenants are safe and were able to get out with their most important possessions before things really got crazy. Some friends and members of the stake pulled our carpet today and other will be knocking out drywall and pulling damaged insulation. We'll drive to Nashville on Thursday after finals. Our little vacation to Nashville to see friends and celebrate birthday/graduation has turned into something quite different. We are grateful to have such wonderful friends in Nashville looking out for us.
