Speaking of tons, Quinn continues to be so :-) Both Darice and I are suffering with muscle problems in our arms and shoulders...what a chunk. He is going through a difficult stage right now. Very ill tempered and having difficulty sleeping. He kept us up half the night last night. Darice and I probably look like hell today :-[~ We may need an elephant blow dart to get him to sleep.


Love that family, lucky for us we get to see them this weekend....yahoo!

With the help of Olivia,
Jon bought me the sweetest flat iron
for my 30th birthday.
Then, only weeks before the big day,
I cut off all my hair!
Well, this is my first attempt at using the
ghd on my short do. Props to Olivia for a fabulous cut.

A bit of inspiration

Raleigh has quite a few homeless men and women
who stand at the freeway entrances.
I always have this uneasy feeling when I stop
like I don't want to make eye contact with
them because I really want to help, but don't think
giving them the $0.55 I have in the car will.
So, I've decided to give a little 'sack lunch' instead of money
I figure, who wouldn't be happy for
this food and a pass along card and
a wonderful quote about being a child of God?
(Olivia, Alexis, Colton and I had a great experience
with a man outside the Temple. He asked for spare change
we told him we didn't have any, but he could have our Sobe.

Can you imagine my surprise when Jon bought this
beauty for me for my 30th birthday!!!

Love this kid

Living so far away from home, you'd think I'd get used
to being away from my family. Alexis went into
the MTC last week and I already really miss her.
She's about as good as it gets.
